Video Producer serves as the single
technical editor and contact for the video production
upon completion of content. The Video Producer will
collect all material and data needed and be responsible
for planning and executing the production schedule. The
producer will apply proprietary formula for video
production in adherence with a monthly schedule. Choose
from the following video production checklist of tasks
to be performed in creating a video:
Review existing hard copy
manuals or class room training material to be
converted or used for online training
Perform gap analysis and create
"needs" list for converting existing material to
flowcharts and graphic demonstrations to enhance
learning goals
Identify tasks required in
conversion and identify and propose a production
timeline
Obtain all graphic approved
logos, slogans, colors, fonts and other
specifications requested by client. In lieu of
approved, detailed specifications, producer use our
proprietary specifications.
Obtain completed and approved
script
Schedule voice over talent,
transcribers and translators as needed.
Identify milestones wherein
stakeholder sign-off is critical to production
schedule and contracted resources
Nail down stakeholder approval
and feedback relative to stakeholder goals
and vendor schedules
Advise on production
requirements relative to technical challenges and
make recommendations
Incorporate visuals (charts,
glossary and logos) into finished video productions.
Report gaps in training flow
and make recommendations invisual enhancements for
effective portrayal of information
Maintain all instructional
production materials and media for the life cycle of project engagement
Edit raw footage to produce a
finished AV production
Manage the production and
integration of the audio
Test timing of completed video
production with audio (script)
Make corrections as needed to
sync video with audio
Add script as closed caption
Deliver the completed audio
video file in industry standard format with voice
over and closed captioning
